Question about doll hair.

Ok I asked this on AG plaything (during the dark and scary times that HB was down), but now this is a different doll, if you get a doll with hair like this (it doesn't look to bad but I can't tell) is there any way to get the curls back, also how do you wash the hair and what do you use.

Unless your doll's hair "feels" really dirty, a good spraying down with water as you brush it should make her curls pretty again. If you want to wash her hair, I would recommend wig shampoo that is made especially for synthetic wigs. I know many of our members have used a mild "human" shampoo, but people shampoos are made to strip human oils from the hair - and that doesn't sound too good for dolly hair, in my opinion. You can usually find wig shampoo at a beauty supply store (like Sally's) or at a wig store.

Downey dunk might help along with steaming. I'm not sure about getting the curl back though.

This is what happens if you don't use a wire wig brush. So to help not get the hair this way in the first place, invest in some. I hear misting the hair lightly with water prior to brushing helps too.

LOL she's not mine (yet) she is one I am probably gonna buy on ebay and before I buy her I wanted to make sure there was a way "fix" her hair. I have the AG wire brush already that's all I use and I have a little squirt bottle.

I would suggest washing in a mild shampoo, in cool water. Cool water will probably help the hair retain it's curl a little better.Brush it carefully with a wig brush, then allow it to airdry. I bet she will look as good as new.
